Stratos Unmanned Aerial Systems Ltd
owns and operates a number of 6 and 8 engined professional grade remotely operated unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), also called drones. With their ground based monitoring and control systems, they are ideally suited for all types of aerial video and photographic work.
We have our Permission for Aerial Work
from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
, allowing us to operate safely and legally across the UK with £5m public liability insurance.
Our pilots are trained by EuroUSC
to their BNUC-S™
standard. EuroUSC™ is Europe's leading independent Accreditation Specialist for 'Airworthiness & Pilot Qualifications' covering Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). EuroUSC™ is recognised by National Aviation Authorities (NAAs) as a competent body for assessing manufacturers, operators and flight schools.
We work to our own CAA assessed Operations Manual, which conforms with UK air law and guidelines. This sets the operational and maintenance procedures we follow and ensures the safety of the public, buildings, structures and our crew.
Finally, we will always liaise with the clients own Health & Safety personnel before operations to ensure we work within your own requirements.
We are based in Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland and work across the UK and beyond.
Stratos is pleased to be a member of ARPAS-UK
the Associaton of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems.
